    This seminar will introduce students to basic principles of National Security Law. Among other things, we will examine the constitutional powers of each branch of government, the applicability of international law, and the domestic law that applies to the use of force and intelligence operations. The current war on terrorism will be used as a vehicle to explore the legality of warrantless FISA surveillance, various interrogation techniques, and the detention and treatment of suspected terrorists.
