UNM Team Sweeps 2006 Hispanic Moot Court Competition

Denise Chanez (`06), Damian Lara and Elaine Lujan took first place at the 2006 Hispanic National Bar Association's Moot Court Competition, marking the first win for UNM at this event. The teammates attributed their success to the training they received from their coach Judge Joseph Alarid of the New Mexico Court of Appeals, and the input they received from UNM law professors and lawyers during their many practice rounds.
