Dahlia Dorman was appointed by Gov. Bill Richardson to serve as the seventh student regent on the University of New Mexico Board of Regents.
"Dahlia Dorman brings a sterling record of academic achievement and a diverse perspective to the UNM Board of Regents," said Richardson. “I am confident that her strong intellect will make her an excellent regent.”
Dorman earned a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from UNM in 2006. During her time at UNM, she has been a member of the Black Law Students Association and the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. She received the Clauvre Outstanding Senior Award and was a speaker at UNM Commencement in 2006.
