Mike Osborn ('08) Receives Scholarship

Mike Osborn, an educator who devoted 25 years to students at Jefferson Middle School, was selected by New Mexico Sen. Cisco McSorley (`79) to receive a scholarship in the senator's name.

The scholarship was funded under the UNM Alumni Association's Higher Education Distinguished Legislator Award. Osborn, an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation, earned a master's in gifted and special education and his undergraduate degree in counseling, both at UNM.
