The University of New Mexico is located along historic Route 66 in the heart of Albuquerque. Its campus extends to Indian School NE on the north (near the law school, children's campus, and medical school), Gibson SE on the south (near the basketball, football, and baseball stadiums), west near I-25, and east near Girard NE.
The UNM community is separated into three sections; Main Campus, North Campus, and South Campus.

The majority of UNM academic colleges and programs are housed on main campus. You will also find Popejoy Hall Center for the Arts, Zimmerman Library (the largest of the four libraries in the university system), Johnson Center (the student recreational center), and the Student Union Building on main campus.
Main Campus' boundaries are Lomas NE on the north, Central SE on the south, University NE on the west, and Girard NE on the east.
The University of New Mexico's North Campus is home to the Law School, Health Sciences Center (College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy, School of Medicine), University Hospital, and the North Campus Golf Course.
North Campus' boundaries are Indian School NE on the north, Lomas NE on the south, University NE/I-25 on the west, and Girard NE on the east.

South Campus is made up of the Athletics Complex, which includes University Arena "the PIT," the Lobo football stadium, tennis courts, baseball, softball, and soccer fields. It also houses the Science and Technology Park. the Family and Graduate housing, and the off-campus Apartment Style residence halls.
