Featured Program

The Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project

In UNM Law School’s Marshall-Brennan Program, law students teach civic education to high school students in culturally-diverse, high-poverty New Mexico public schools. The class explores the Bill of Rights and culminates in a moot court competition, empowering high school students to become zealous advocates for themselves and their communities while providing real-world teaching experience to law students and a pipeline opportunity for the law school. With your support, we can reach our goal of sending this year’s team to Washington D.C. for the national competition and a lifetime of benefits for both high school students and our law students.
