2014 Distinguished Achievement Awards Dinner A Huge Success

Marris Chavez

Morris Chavez, Chair of the Distinguished Achievement Awards Dinner, welcomes guests.

Over 500 UNM School of Law alumni, faculty, students, and supporters attended the 2014 Distinguished Achievement Awards Dinner on Friday, October 24th at the UNM Student Union Building. The awards dinner is the Law Alumni Association’s signature event. This year’s was the largest yet, with more attendees than ever and raising $100,000 to fund the Law Alumni Association’s full-ride scholarships at the UNM School of Law.

Each year, a committee of the Law Alumni Association Board of Directors issues a call for nominations and undertakes a painstaking process to select honorees for the year.

Deepest thanks go to Parnall Law, the presenting sponsor; and to the top sponsors: the Rodey Law firm; the Law Firm of Keleher & McLeod; the Marchiondo Law Office, P.C.; and to the Hart Family. The UNM Law School is very grateful to the Beverage and Awards Sponsors, the Gold Sponsors, the Reception Sponsors, Silver Sponsors, Bronze Sponsors, Table Sponsors, and Student Sponsors, all who made this event a very special one indeed.
