School of Law General Scholarship Fund - A Law School Critical Needs Fund
This ever-important and operationally critical fund for recruitment, retention and student support allows financial assistance to go directly where it is needed and allows our Dean vital flexibility in how it is distributed among students.
School of Law Dean's Fund - A Law School Critical Needs Fund
In an era of budget reductions, more than ever, gifts to the Dean's Fund are truly one of our most precious resources. These crucial unrestricted contributions empower our law school Dean to not only identify, but to immediately meet the school's most critical needs.
Law School Innocence & Justice Project
The need for additional funding is dire due to 2013 grant expiration. A resource for men and women convicted in New Mexico state courts who have a meritorious claim of factual innocence. The Project reviews and investigates claims of wrongful conviction, researches factual innocence of the applicant, and if appropriate, provides the evidence to a Court that the individual did not commit the crime he or she was convicted of.
Law School Indian Law General Scholarship Fund
The UNM School of Law takes its commitment to Indian law students and the Indian law program and community seriously. Funding for student scholarships allows us to recruit and retain Native American applicants from New Mexico and around the country and to support their legal education needs.
Law Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established to unite law school graduates and friends in a shared calling for the law school - to honor, through action and gift, the importance of legal education. These gifts will ensure student retention and stability, now and into the future, by actively and continually enlarging an endowment that will provide as many permanent full-tuition scholarships as our gifts will allow.
School of Law Faculty Support Fund
In addition to their tireless commitment to students inside and outside the classroom, the faculty is engaged in their own scholarship - requiring long hours of research and at times travel. Faculty support funding offers deeply needed resources that keep our faculty strong and rewarded for their important work.
San Juan Basin Scholarship
Established by alumni and friends in the Farmington area o encourage talented members of the Four Corners area to attend the UNM School of Law, and ideally return to the community to practice and become the next generation of leaders in the community.
Scout Scholarship Project
A scholarship to support Eagle Scouts, Philmont Scout Ranch alumni, and those who have been deeply involved in scouting in the study of law.
Washington, DC Semester Program
Support our efforts to provide students with the unprecedented opportunity to work and be mentored for a semester within a government agency, federal judge's chambers, Congressional office, or qualified non-profit or legal aid organization in our Nation's Capital. Our DC Semester Program, never before offered at our law school, is an experiential educational program, so robust and sophisticated, it offers a dynamic, life-changing immersion.
Oil and Gas Program Initiative
Join us in creating increased support to develop a dedicated oil and gas initiative and program at the University of New Mexico and the School of Law.
