Mary Virginia “MV” Miller, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Jan. 11, 2012.
Mary was born in La Grange, Ga., and raised in Fabius, NY. She earned a B.S. in nursing from Syracuse University in 1995 and moved to Albuquerque soon after. Prior to attending law school, she spent years working as a pediatric intensive care nurse.
Miller shared a love of the works of William Faulkner with her mother, and they visited Oxford and Rowan Oak together more than once. According to friends, she loved the California coast and sunshine and will be missed for her mordant wit, her intellect and her beautiful, heartfelt generosity.
