Goals

  • To explore, define and develop the pedagogy, methodology and curriculum design unique to Indian Law clinic programs.
  • To develop materials to be used in the classroom setting.
  • To discuss emerging issues in this developing area of clinical legal programs.
  • To troubleshoot potential challenges in creating an Indian Law clinic.
  • To create a network of Indian Law clinical professors and to promote scholarship.

Audience

Clinical & Externship Program Directors & Clinicians who have developed or are thinking about developing a clinic or externship program that focuses on representing Native clients or tribes in a variety of legal settings.

The structure of this symposium will include speakers, panelists and workshops.
