I loved working as a legal services attorney in a neighborhood field office in Washington D.C., where we had the privilege of providing a wide range of free legal services to people in poverty. As a teacher in the Clinical Programs, I get to share similar joys and challenges of working with people to address their legal problems. In the classroom, we try to provide information on the substantive and procedural issues that students will face, but the heart of Clinical teaching is done by the clients and their cases. It is a privilege to be of service to people in need. It is great to share the opportunity to be of service with students as they begin their legal careers.
