Teaching in the clinic is a privilege and a challenge. The law clinic is where the instructor has the opportunity to bring so many things to bear on real life problems: our knowledge of the substantive and procedural law, ethics and professionalism, cross-cultural competencies, lived experiences and problem-solving skills. Our work in the clinic often shows students that they are joining a profession that can make a significant difference in people's lives. The clinic is a laboratory where we try to fuse law with justice.
