American Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition
Course Description
National Sponsor: American Intellectual Property Law Association
The Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court Competition of the American Intellectual Property Law Association is an annual competition presenting problems in intellectual property such as patent appeals. The competition is divided into regional competitions followed by a national competition among the top two teams from each region. During the fall semester, UNM law students may enter a competition to select members of the regional team(s) to represent the UNM School of Law. To receive course credit, selected students must prepare briefs for the competition and participate in both practice oral arguments and regional competition oral argument rounds during the spring semester.
