Would you like to work one-on-one with established and talented New Mexico appellate attorneys in the Attorney General's office, the Appellate Division of the Public Defender, and pro bono and amicus practices on a variety of criminal law issues? How about working on a case you might actually be able to cite to on your resume? Preparing for an appellate clerkship? Appellate Law and Practice is a year-long course in which you will work on actual pending appeals, while covering in symposium style issues of standard of review, pleading writing, oral argument, summary calendar process, appellate ethics, appellate jurisdiction, and more. .
