Alison Cimino
Alison Cimino received her bachelor of arts degrees in Government and Foreign Languages from New Mexico State University in 2000. She graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2003. While in law school she received clinical honors.
After earning her J.D., she practiced immigration law at a small law firm for more than five years, during which she prepared applications for religious, performance, cultural exchange, finance and many family-based visas. She successfully prepared waivers for clients who had to leave the United States in order to gain lawful status. Their return to the United States made those waivers her most rewarding work.
In April 2009, Cimino opened a solo practice where she focuses on family-based immigration and naturalization cases. She also represents clients who are facing deportation in immigration court. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
