Sandi Gilley (`86) is the supervising attorney in the general law unit at Law Access New Mexico, a nonprofit that provides free comprehensive civil legal services via telephone to New Mexico’s low income residents. Law Access serves about 900 clients each month.
After earning her J.D. in 1986, Gilley worked for the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department and the state Labor Department.
She has given several financial literacy presentations at the University of New Mexico School of Law and during the fall 2010 semester, she co-taught Poverty Law with John Feldman.
