Scott Gordon is a director in the Albuquerque office of the Rodey Law Firm, where he chairs the Litigation Department. He is a certified specialist in both civil trials and labor and employment law.
Since 1986, he has been the first chair trial attorney in many jury trials and bench trials, including those that addressed discrimination, wrongful termination, breach of contract and personal injury claims. He is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Advocate. He is certified by the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in Civil Trials and in Employment and Labor Law. He serves on the faculty for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
Gordon also has experience in training managers and teaching seminars on a variety of employment-related topics, including the avoidance of wrongful discharge and discrimination litigation. He is listed in Chambers & Partners- America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (2004) (2005) (2006) (2007) and (2008)as an employment specialist. He earned his J.D. from Columbia University and a B.A. from Claremont Men's College.
