The Process

Who?

The UNM School of Law Office of Career & Student Services, and the New Mexico and National chapters of the Native American Law Students Association (NALSA), working in concert with the Indian Law Section of the Federal Bar Association, present the Fourth Annual Indian Law Attorney Recruitment Program.

How?

We provide potential employers attending the conference an opportunity to post their requirements for applicants on this website in advance of the conference. Native and non-Native law students and graduates who are NALSA members are eligible to apply directly to listed employers.

When?

The Indian Law Section of the Federal Bar Association conference takes place April 19 and 20, 2007.

Where?

The conference will take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Albuquerque Marriott Hotel, 2101 Louisiana Blvd., NE., 505-881-6800.

Employers

Register online using the Employer Resume Request Form to receive resumes. Once employers have selected the applicants they wish to interview they must set interview times with the students. Employers wishing to use UNM Law School facilities to interview should contact Mitzi Vigil, UNM Law School Indian Law Program Coordinator at (505) 277-0405 no later than Monday, March 26, 2007.

Employer Deadline

The deadline for employers to sign up to receive resumes from applicants is Monday, March 23, 2007. Employers are asked to decide who they want to interview by Monday, April 9, 2007.

Applicant Deadline

The list of employers seeking resumes will be posted on the Participating Employers page after January 22, 2007. Applicants should send resumes directly to employers by Monday, March 26, 2007.
