Nuts and Bolts
What To Bring
Students are encouraged to bring a notepad and pen for taking notes, a mug for coffee/tea to reduce waste. Dress informally, comfortably and flexibly; the heating and cooling system is unpredictable, so be prepared to add/subtract clothing for personal comfort. Light snacks, fruit, coffee and tea will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring additional snacks or a sack lunch as the days are long and require a high level of energy.
Students will be mailed a visitor's parking permit for the Friday of mediation weekend, unless they already have purchased a semester-long parking permit for the "L" lot. No permit is required on weekends.
Students can bring their own lunch or go out during the lunch break. One of the attractions of the Southwest is the excellent New Mexican cuisine. The three guides listed below offer a wide range of dining options.
