Ernesto Longa Receives Research Grant

Ernesto Longa Ernesto Longa has received a research grant from the University of New Mexico's Research Allocation Committee to create a bibliography of anarchist periodicals published in the United States between 1833 and the end of World War II.

The award has enabled Longa to conduct research at the University of Michigan’s Labadie Collection and the Humanities and Social Science Libraries of the New York Public Library in New York City.

His goal is to publish, in book form, a descriptive bibliography of anarchist papers that, among other things, draws attention to the First Amendment battles anarchists and radical libertarians waged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
