Bob Manzanares, U.S. Department of State Diplomat-in-Residence for the New Mexico/Southern Colorado region, will share his personal and professional experiences in the federal government and abroad.

During his long career with the State Department, Manzanares has been deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Spain, executive director of the Bureau of African Affairs and worked with the Organization of American States. He has held positions in Mexico, Iceland, Ivory Coast and Israel.

Born and raised in Colorado, Manzanares received his bachelor of arts degree from Adams State College in Alamosa, CO and a master's in public administration from the University of Colorado.

The International Law Society is sponsoring his visit.
