The Environmental Law Society hosted a gathering of UNM law students and lawyers who practice in the natural resources, environment and energy-related fields at an after-work mixer on the law school’s Hart Wing patio.
Among lawyers who talked about student opportunities were Josh Mann (`06), editor of Vista, the newsletter of the State Bar’s Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law Section (NREEL) and Doug Meiklejohn, executive director of the New Mexico Environmental Law Center. Jennifer Pruett (’83) made a few remarks on behalf of the NREEL section, an organization that helps fund the annual event.
