The New Mexico Court of Appeals has scheduled a hearing at the Pamela B. Minzner Law Center on Feb. 22. The oral argument is open to the public and begins at 1:30 pm.
A three-judge panel will preside: Judge Celia Foy Castillo ('81), Judge James J. Wechsler, and Judge Roderick Kennedy.
Following are the details of the case:
Farmers Insurance Company of Arizona, Plaintiff-Appellee, represented by Daniel O'Brien
Christine Sandoval and Melissa Carter, Defendants-Appellants, represented by Thomas Allison
Defendants-appellants are appealing a summary judgment in favor of the plaintiff-appellee, on the question of if the defendants' uninsured/underinsured auto insurance can limit the amount awarded to the defendants based on the underinsured driver's own policy limits.
