Library Professor Sherri Thomas Named to UNM Board

Sherri ThomasProfessor Sherri Thomas (`05), a member of the UNM Law Library faculty, has been appointed to the Executive Board of the Institute for American Indian Research (IFAIR). She joins Beverly Singer (Anthropology/Native American Studies), Jennifer Denetdale (American Studies), Steve Verney (Psychology), Kamilla Venner (Psychology), Kathleen Washburn (English), and Mary Alice Tsosie (Oral History Program in University Libraries), who are current members of the board.

IFAIR was created in the UNM College of Arts and Sciences in 2004 to serve as a forum for the discussion of issues critical to the continuance of Native peoples by individuals both in and outside of the university community, thus providing a significant link to the region’s Native communities.
