ARTS Talk Host Sherri Burr Interviews Southwest Writers, Artists

Professor Sherri BurrUNM School of Law Professor Sherri Burr produces and hosts ARTS TALK, a weekly television show that runs on Comcast Channel 27 on Mondays from 7:00 – 7:30 p.m.

The April schedule of ARTS TALK includes a television debut for two UNM Law students. Third-year law student Darin McDougall will serve as co-host for the April 13th episode and third-year law student Ashley Schneller will serve as co-host for the April 20th episode.

  • April 6: An interview with author/attorney Jonathan Miller and editor Peggy Herrington to discuss The Storyteller Anthology, a production of Southwest Writers.
  • April 13: Third-year law student Darin McDougall will serve as co-host in an interview with co-authors Valerie Plame and Sarah Lovett to discuss their new thriller Blowback. Valerie Plame was the former CIA agent who was ousted during the Bush Administration. She authored Fair Game, and now lives in Santa Fe. Sarah Lovett is a Santa Fe resident who has authored numerous books.

  • April 20: Third-year law student Ashley Schneller will serve as co-host in an interview with author Loretta Hall who wrote books on Underground Buildings and New Mexico’s Contributions to Space Travel.
