The New Mexico Court of Appeals has scheduled a hearing at the Pamela B. Minzner Law Center on Thursday, April 24, 2014. The oral argument is open to the public and begins at 10:00 A.M.
A three-judge panel will preside: Chief Judge Roderick Kennedy, Judge James J. Wechsler, and Judge Linda M. Vanzi ('95). Following are the details of the case:
ESTATE OF ALICE C. BRICE, by and through Personal Representative Tracy Ahr, and minors Emily Ahr and Hannah Ahr, by and through their Parent and next friend, Tracy Ahr, Plaintiffs-Appellants, represented by Steven L. Tucker, Lisa K. Curtis, Paul Komyatte, Amalia S. Lucero
TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION, el al., Defendants-Appellees, represented by Edward Ricco, Jeffery M. Croasdell, Todd E. Rinner
This is a "sudden unintended acceleration" case. Plaintiffs-Appellants request review of District Court's granting of Toyota's motion for judgment on the pleadings on the ground that the complaint was barred by the statute of limitations.
