Criterion

  1. Applicant MUST be a paid MALSA member in good standing taking a bar exam within one year of graduation.
  2. Describe your prior involvement with MALSA during your law school tenure. List specific activities or events that you were personally involved with including, but not limited to, MALSA Board of Director positions, Committee Chairperson(s), or participation as a committee member, or assistance in any MALSA event.
  3. List and describe other extra-curricular activities with other organizations you participated in at UNM School of Law or UNM that directly benefited MALSA and its mission statement.
  4. Describe any academic activities, achievements, or events, i.e., Moot Court, Mock Trial, Law Review, UNMSOL Admissions Committee.
  5. Describe your current and future contributions, if any, to the Hispanic community or any other civic or charitable endeavors that you believe are relevant and should be taken into consideration.
  6. Demonstrate financial hardship. If applicable, provide proof of financial aid and other documentation for any unforeseeable expenses incurred during your law school tenure.
