Saint Thomas More and Virgin of Guadalupe Society

Mission Statement

The primary purpose of the UNMSOL Saint Thomas More and Virgin of Guadalupe Society is to foster the spiritual, intellectual, and professional growth of students who wish to integrate God into their daily lives and follow the teachings of the Catholic Church. Accordingly, the Society wholeheartedly supports the Church’s Pro-Life stance and upholds her moral teachings. The Society seeks to accomplish its goals through prayer, attending the Red Mass, and attending and participating in meetings, lectures, and discussions with other student organizations. Finally, the society hopes to inspire its members to emulate the spiritual and moral qualities exemplified by Saint Thomas More, the patron saint of lawyers. The Virgin of Guadalupe—the patron saint of the Americas—is the Society’s co-patron saint.
