International law Students Association

The members of UNM International Law Students Association are a diverse group of students and faculty with strong interests with regards to International Law in all of its applications. Our involvement includes but is not limited to:

  • (Public) International Law
  • Comparative Human Rights
  • Immigration Law
  • Refugee and Asylum Law
  • International Criminal Law
  • International Business Transactions

ILSA UNM enjoys a variety of classes in International Law and we annually send representatives to compete in the Jessup International Moot Court. The UNM School of Law also offers a JD/MA dual degree in Latin American Studies. In addition to the numerous study abroad programs sponsored by the National ILSA, the UNM School of Law features several unique study abroad opportunities. These opportunities include studies in Guanajuato, Mexico, Tasmania, and the North America Student Exchange Program. Accordingly, the UNM School of Law is a community where ILSA members strive for excellence in International Law.
