Student Organizations
Through membership in a broad variety of law-school groups, UNM law students bring speakers to the school, feed the hungry, provide tax assistance, arrange networking events and form lasting friendships. The extensive scope of organizations represents the myriad backgrounds and interests of the student body.
The Student Bar Association is the umbrella student organization at the UNM School of Law and every law student is a member. The SBA encourages collaboration of all student organizations and often co-sponsors events with other organizations.

Scheduling an Event
Students organizing an event are required to:
- Secure a room via email to Mary Dewey.
- Schedule the event on the calendar through Mary Dewey.
- Fill out the Student Organization Food Order Form. This will let Nancy Huffstutler know when to call the restaurant with the Pcard authorization. Please note! Filling out this form does not mean Nancy will order the food with your chosen vendor. Students are responsible for ordering the food separately from filling out this information. Finally, do not wait to the last minute. Order as far in advance as possible to ensure you will not have any problems with the P card authorization.
- Orders placed with the list provided here will be paid by credit card to be charged to the student organization's account.
