Older and or Wiser Law Students

Welcome

Older and/or Wiser Law Students (OWLS) is an organization that provides support, networking, and social events for older, and/or otherwise non-traditional students.  BUT you do not have to be older or wiser to join us!

Some of the proposed activities for 2012-13 are:

  • Sponsor series of presentations on financial, vocational,   intellectual, social, emotional, and physical wellness
  • Network with practicing attorneys who were also non-traditional students when they went through law school
  • Co-sponsor events throughout the year, working with other organizations
  • Sponsor weekly sessions where students can meet to work on artistic pursuits while conversing about law school life
