School of Law Clinic Swearing-In Ceremony

Students participating in the UNM School of Law’s Clinical Law Program were sworn in by New Mexico Supreme Court Chief Justice Julie Vargas on August 17, marking the beginning of a new semester of hands-on legal education.
The Clinical Law Program combines classroom instruction with community-based practice, giving students the opportunity to develop practical legal skills while serving real clients. Through their clinical work, students put their legal education into practice while providing legal services to members of the community.
