Two of Professor Burr’s former UNM Law students, Kathy Pack Casaus and David Gomez both attended the event with their spouses, Phil Casaus and Inez Russel Gomez, who were representing The Santa Fe New Mexican, a conference sponsor. “Kathy Pack was in the first class I taught in 1988 at the UNM School of Law, and is now a principle at Bel Air Elementary School in Albuquerque.
