Natural Resources and Environmental Law Faculty

Experience matters, and every one of our NREL faculty members had years of experience in environmental and natural resources law before becoming a UNM professor. This experience is remarkably diverse, including work for federal agencies, tribal governments, private clients, nonprofit conservation groups, and more. This experience helps our NREL faculty be better teachers and mentors for our students, whatever they may aspire to do in this field of law. In addition, all of our professors are accomplished scholars in their chosen fields, helping to shape the development of the law through their research and writing.
