APIL Summer Award

Through programming, outreach, and fundraising, the Association of Public Law (APIL) encourages students to pursue careers in the field of public interest law. The APIL Summer Award Program provides fellowships to qualifying students who have committed to working in unpaid or low paid summer positions in public interest law.

Othmer Fellowship

Annually, APIL in conjunction with the Public Law Section of the State Bar and Sheila Brown awards the Craig Othmer Fellowship, a $4000.00 fellowship, to a law student who has secured an unpaid public interest position for the summer.
