On-Campus Interview (OCI) Program: Information for Employers

On-Campus Interview Process Overview

Employers will be notified via email when the employer registration period for an OCI program opens. If you would like to be notified about the employer registration period, please contact the Program Coordinator, Program Coordinator for Student & Career Services. Once you have completed the registration and selected your preferred interview dates, you will receive an approval notification from CONNECT.

Once the Student Application Period opens, students and alumni will be able to view and apply for your job postings. After the Student Application Period closes, Student & Career Services Office staff will email you a packet of all applicant materials. You will then be able to log into CONNECT and select which applicants you would like to interview. Or, you may send your interview selections to the Program Coordinator.

Student & Career Offices Staff will schedule all interviews for you. The expectation is that all interviews will be held at the law school, unless your firm or agency requires remote interviews. After interviews have concluded, employers will notify all applicants regarding whether they received an offer.

To register for Spring 2024 OCI Program, log onto CONNECT.

To register for Spring 2024 OCI Program, log onto CONNECT. If you are a first-time user, you will need to sign up for an account. Once you have logged in, select the red “+ Register” button in the Register for OCI tile on the landing page.

If you are unable to interview during the time period for an OCI program, consider taking advantage of a Resume Collect option or a traditional job posting.

Resume Collect

The Resume Collect option provides a solution for employers who are unable to interview within the OCI program dates but wish to recruit and interview UNM School of Law students for summer and post-graduate positions. Using the CONNECT management system, employers taking advantage of this option will be able to post the position, receive application materials directly through CONNECT, and then generate a booklet of application materials for your review. Employers using this option will contact applicants directly to schedule interviews, and interviews will be held on your own timeframe to suit your needs.

To participate in the Resume Collect option, log into CONNECT and select the red “+ Post” button from the Post a Job tile on the landing page. Complete the required information to advertise your position, and be sure to select the Resume Collect option.
