Professor Zuni Cruz Paper Published in New Book

A paper presented by Professor Christine Zuni Cruz at the 2003 National Native Title Conference in Australia has been included as a chapter in the book, Dialogue About Land Justice: Papers from the National Native Title Conferences. The title of her paper and the chapter is: “Self-determination and Indigenous Nations in the United States: International Human Rights, Federal Policy and Indigenous Nationhood.”
Since its inception in 1999, the National Native Title Conference has become the leading indigenous policy conference in Australia. The annual conference includes keynote addresses, sessions, cultural events and exhibitions.
Zuni Cruz’s teaching and research includes the internal traditional and modern law of indigenous peoples domestically and internationally.
