May 23, 2012
Professor Carol Suzuki discussed the responses of law school clinics to environmental disasters in an article published in the Japanese clinical law journal. The article is based on a presentation she made at the Japan Clinical Legal Education Association's annual meeting in Nishinomiya, Japan during a six week trip to Japan in 2011 shortly after the devastating earthquake and tsunami.
The article is titled, “Potentials of Japanese Law School Clinics to Aid the Victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Nuclear Accident,” in 4 Lawyers and Clinical Education 90 (2011), translated by Kyoko Ishida.
