Dean Kevin Washburn Compares Gambling Regulations in Op-ed

In an op-ed published in the Albuquerque Journal in its June 18 edition, Dean Kevin Washburn compares the broad difference in how horse racing is regulated versus casino gambling in New Mexico. He suggests the state should unify its approach to regulating these two forms of gambling.
Washburn concludes his argument with the question: “If we cannot trust that the action at tracks is legitimate, why should we allow it to be legal?”
