Professor Alfred Mathewson Receives MLK Award

Professor Alfred Mathewson was presented with the Keep the Dream Alive Award by the MLK Multicultural Board during Martin Luther King Day events in Albuquerque.
He received the award along with Amy Biehl Charter High School and former Albuquerque Public Schools Superintendent Jack Bobroff. The award is presented to people and things that are keeping the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. alive by promoting his legacy through their work in the community.
The MLK Multicultural Board also presented 32 college scholarships to high school students who've demonstrated their understanding of King's values.
