Latiné American Law Student Association (LALSA) Sarape Ceremony

The School of Law’s Latiné American Law Student Association (LALSA) held a special Sarape Ceremony to honor its graduating members on May 14, 2026. During the ceremony, President of the New Mexico State Bar Allison Block-Chavez (’14) and Sheryl Saavedra (’94) shared remarks celebrating the graduates and their accomplishments.
The ceremony recognized the following students: Dennis Aragon, Nicolas Estrada, Austin Flores, Bianka Garcia, Sophia Gomez, Jacob Griego, Karina Guadarrama, Chase Hobson, David Lonergan, Donald Love, Lauren Martinez, Angélica Ortega, Hollis Pueblo, and Jordan Rosenberg Cobos.
