Professor Sedillo Lopez Presents Keynote at Clinic Conference

Professor Antoinette Sedillo Lopez presented a keynote address at the Southwest Junior Clinicians Conference in mid-March at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Her talk was titled, “The CLEA Best Practices Project: Clinicians Transforming Legal Education.”
The conference attracted clinicians with less than 10 years of teaching experience who discussed a broad array of issues. Topics included best practices and the future of clinical legal education, pedagogical and practical choices while (re)structuring a clinic, exploring the role of ideological objectives in immigration (and other) clinics and Integrating community education, legislative advocacy and policy-making.
